Photo Friday: Delicate

Didn't have enough time, energy, or creativity to get an entry in for last week's topic of 'Retro.' Had a very, very busy week with an extra class along with my regular classes, as well an exam and paper... so bleh.

So anyways, enough excuses. Here's my entry for this week's topic of 'Delicate.' This little guy here is my baby cousin, Danny. I was thinking along the lines of innocence and how it can be delicate. Yep, so there you have it...

Illustration Friday: Cold

So, I just finished this one about 30 minutes ago or so... I've been busy - lots of homework to do this week after coming back from fall break, so I was a little rushed, so the background isn't the best, nor the hand. Just needed some filler. Decided to do ice cream 'cause I love to eat it! I was trying my best to make it look appetizing... = ) Hope you like it.

Photo Friday: Conspicuous

Here's my photo for this week's Photo Friday topic of "Conspicuous." I thought the "Cut" looked pretty conspicuous to me... and it's "cut." That could have many connotations. ( Sorry for the dustiness tho... =P )

Anyways, what do you think?

Illustration Friday: Lost

Okay, so here's my submission for the topic Lost... I know it's last minute but oh well. I spent maybe a total of 4-5 hours on this one. It's all done in pencil, and it's of my hand. (Aah, the magnificence of digital cameras.)

So now I have my first entry for Illustration Friday in.

Photo Friday: Five

Here's my first entry for Photo Friday. It can be pretty hard to find something relating to the topic and still be interesting. Lemme kno if you think these glasses are interesting... =P

Now all I need to do is get something drawn for Illustration Friday... been thinking about that one for a day or two, still don't have any good ideas. Oh well, something'll come to me.

Couldn't wait...

So I couldn't wait until this coming friday to draw something and post it; yet, I'm also too tired to actually draw something competently, so I'm going to post something old. This drawing is a replica of the photo taken at Ground Zero in NYC. I drew this two years ago during my senior year of high school for an art class. This is one of my pieces that I am more proud of. (Don't mind the glare, it's framed and I had to take a picture of it.)

Tell me and I forget; Show me and I remember; Involve me and I understand.

Yep, so I now have a blog from blogger.com as well as my LiveJournal ( which has gone un-updated for years ) and Xanga ( which breathes every few weeks ). Unlike those two blogs, this one won't really contain anything about my day-to-day life and thoughts; instead, it'll be the host to my artwork from now on. My little sister introduced me to a weekly illustration "ring" called IllustrationFriday.com where a topic is posted and people just submit the links to their art, and blogger.com was recommended. So this is why my blog from blogger.com exists now. I hope everyone who will ever lay eyes on my blog will enjoy what is posted and would take the time to show their creative sides and participate in Illustration Friday. But anyway, goodnight and await my first art post.
